The high adhesion alternative to replacing your weathered roof.

GacoFlex S42 Series is a 100% silicone roof coating solution for renewing your weathered roof. This high adhesion coating can be installed over virtually any existing roof substrate* creating a durable, seamless membrane that helps protect the roof from permanent ponding water, ultraviolet light and severe weather.

GacoFlex S42 Series covers more surface area with less material than many other competitive silicones, exhibits outstanding peak hide coverage on granulated surfaces, and with its strong adhesion to multiple types of surfaces, it eliminates the need for an epoxy primer in many cases, allowing for faster installation.



  • 100% silicone solvent-free roof coating
  • 1 coat on smooth surfaces. 2 coats on granulated and rough surfaces.
  • Coverage: 330SF per 5 gallon pail on a smooth surface.
  • Mixing: Mix before application to ensure uniform color and consistency.
  • Thinning: Product should not be thinned.
  • Primer: Existing silicone coatings should not be primed. Eliminates the need for primer on most substrates*, compared to previous generation GacoFlex silicone coatings.
  • Dry Time: Final coat should be allowed to cure 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature and humidity, before suitable for light foot traffic.
  • Clean Up: Clean application tools and equipment with 100% Pure Mineral Spirits Recirculate through lines and gun until residual coating is removed. DO NOT USE WATER OR RECLAIMED SOLVENTS.

    I replaced a roof with this material and it is the perfect material this will last for 50 years I am using this material to touch up some areas where birds have pecked at the roof.

    this is the second 5 gal bucket of Gaco 4200. I have a 300sq ft flat roof covered with rolled out smooth asphalt 4 ft rolls with hot asphalt seams. The container says 1.25 gal per 100 sq ft--so 5 gal should cover 400 sq ft.. MY first bucket only covered 250 sq ft. Very good product!

    Bought 16, 5 gallon pails of this. Awesome product.
    Application instructions should be more in depth, but was able to call a rep to get the proper method of application. Critical to get the right amount of product applied for it to work as described. Used a 1/8" notched squeegee to spread product. After mixing the product you pour some from bucket onto roof, then squeegee it out with notched squeegee. Back roll with 1/2" nap roller to level.

    I have owned a flat roof home for just over 10 years. After replacing the coating with another product, it leaked again. Finally I switched to the GacoFlex line of Silicone products. Every leak that I have patched has worked. I finally have the funds to complete the entire roof with the silicone sealer
